Sometimes, a useful looking chart can help you trade in the stock market to trade correctly.

I like the dark background because I can see the price clearly. However, you might want to change it to suit your trading style.

Well, some traders have trouble setting the color because if you go to tools and then preference, there is not background tab to set it up.

Take a look at the image below to see for yourself.

When I bought Amibroker, I have kept the default because I did not know how to change it.

Well, it turns out that it is easy to do.

In Amibroker background color, you can choose up to 6 pre-defined chart themes to select your choice.

Below, I’ll show you the other set-ups you can use so that you can find the best one.

Amibroker has limited functionalities in chart backgrounds because you only have six options.

If you click the predefined chart themes, you’ll see the list above.

Here is the video below to see it in action.

You can only change the background color in the chart by selecting the available options. However, you can have different colors and type for horizontal and vertical lines.

Okay, let’s go to the different pre-defined themes to demonstrate them.

First, go to tools and then click preferences.

Second, select the Axes/Grids tab. Below you can see the six predefined themes to choose.

I wrote this post in the past so these pictures can probably change in the future.

Basic Theme

In this basic theme, the background looks like the previous Amibroker version with the white background.

I kind of like it, but it is too bright for me.

Look at the image below.

If you like it, you can select the basic theme to set it up and then hit the “Apply Button.”

The colors of the up candles are white in the stock chart. However, the borders are colored white for you to see it clearly.

The downward candle colors are black to blend it with the white background. If you want something bright, you can use this basic theme to change the default one.
